Now that you've updated the STRIKEPACK™ Dominator to Firmware v3, you can attach it to your controller and plug it in.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
You require a **genuine** PS4® DualShock®4 controller model **CUH-ZCT2** or **CUH-ZCT1**.

* There are many convincing counterfeits out there, and these **will not work** with the STRIKEPACK™.
* A CUH-ZCT2, identifiable by the light strip on its Touchpad, is required to use controller 3.5mm headset audio when using the CM00114.
* All PS4® console models are supported (PS4®, PS4 Slim®, PS4 Pro®).
* PS4® games only, on PS5® console models (PS5®, PS5 Slim®, PS5 Pro®).
* Make sure you've previously paired this controller with your PS4® or PS5® console, and that it is fully charged before proceeding.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}
Turn your controller off if its still on: <img src="/files/WKxGM5nEvfMbZOqHLzmA" alt="" data-size="line"><mark style="color:$danger;">**Hold**</mark> the <img src="/files/mLyRGyvEzAJdTCDdIUme" alt="" data-size="line"> **PS** logo button until it shuts off. This makes things less messy. Less chance of your controller connecting wirelessly and bypassing the STRIKEPACK™.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Carefully attach the STRIKEPACK™ Eliminator to your controller: Line up its Micro USB connector with your controller's Micro USB port, and gently press down on the top of the STRIKEPACK™ to push it into the port.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Secure the hinge clip (clasp) to your controller's speaker grille: Swing the clip around to the front of your controller. There are 3 plastic pins on the clip that are designed to push into the lowest 3 holes of the speaker grille.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/9PUoGKz3j76DKpJkLAx5" alt="" width="150"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Either push up in the headphone port area of the clip, or use your thumb to push the clip up and into the holes, but either way it should firmly click into place.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Plug the included 10FT Cable (Micro USB end) into the USB guide on the STRIKEPACK™, making sure you connect it fully to make proper contact with the STRIKEPACK™'s connection port.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Plug the full-size USB end into a USB port on your PS4® console. Wait for your controller's LED to illuminate. If it turns to the <mark style="color:$warning;">**Orange Charge Indicator**</mark>, it may be too low on battery or getting power but not data. Check that your STRIKEPACK™ is fully attached to your controller, and that the cable is securely plugged in. You may have to unplug & plug back in.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Once your controller's LED is illuminated normally (not orange), the STRIKEPACK™ is successfully paired & ready to game with!
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Provided you have a CUH-ZCT2, you can connect your <i class="fa-headset">:headset:</i> headset directly to your controller's 3.5mm port and it'll work. Most dedicated gaming headsets that work on your controller should work on your STRIKEPACK™-enabled controller without issue.

Due to how microphone audio can become boosted, you may need to significantly reduce your microphone sensitivity to 1 or 2 notches from the left: PS4® > Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Adjust Microphone Level.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
