{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Remove both the battery cover & batteries from your Xbox® controller. They won't be needed.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Not sure which Xbox® controller you have...?

* Your controller's model number is on the label in its battery compartment.
* The 1914 controller uses USB-C and has the <img src="/files/m0jH8pW2qyql881490AO" alt="" data-size="line"> Share button in the middle, whereas 1537, 1697, or 1708 controllers use Micro USB and lack this button.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}
Attach the STRIKEPACK™ Eliminator to your controller. If you have a white Universal STRIKEPACK™ Eliminator (CM00136), it's slightly more involved.

#### Having Trouble?

**CM00136 Backplate:** Attach the Backplate directly to the STRIKEPACK™, covering its original back & label, and press it firmly into place. The STRIKEPACK™ will only fit properly into your controller’s battery compartment once the Backplate is fully seated. If the wrong Backplate is attached by mistake, it may require some force—and possibly your fingernails—to remove it.

***

**CM00136 USB Adapter:** If you have difficulty aligning the interchangeable USB adapter, try pinching both ends together to slightly reduce the distance between them.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
At this stage, the STRIKEPACK™ should be attached to your controller, and the USB adapter that bridges the STRIKEPACK™ to the controller should be plugged in.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Plug the included 10FT Cable (USB-C end) into the USB guide on the STRIKEPACK™, making sure you connect it fully to make proper contact with the STRIKEPACK™'s connection port.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Plug the full-size USB end into a USB port on your Xbox® console or PC. Wait for the Home <mark style="color:$info;">**(Xbox®)**</mark> button to illuminate. If Home does not illuminate after 5 seconds, check both connection points for your controller and STRIKEPACK™ are securely plugged in. You may have to unplug & plug back in.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Once the Home <mark style="color:$info;">**(Xbox®)**</mark> button is illuminated, the STRIKEPACK™ is successfully paired & ready to game with!
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
