Frühere Modelle des Wired STRIKEPACK™ Dominator für PS4® können auf Firmware v3 aktualisiert werden. Die Anweisungen für New Experience M.O.D. gelten für diese Modelle genau auf die gleiche Weise, da sie dieselben 8 LEDs haben und alle neuen Funktionen und M.O.D.s unterstützen.

Diese älteren Modelle sehen CM00085 sehr ähnlich, funktionieren jedoch bei der Headset-Audioausgabe anders.

CM00083 & CM00082 **nicht** funktionieren mit dem eingebauten 3,5-mm-Anschluss Ihres Controllers nicht und blockieren außerdem physisch den Zugriff darauf.

Stattdessen enthalten sie eine integrierte Soundkarte mit einem speziellen 3,5-mm-Anschluss. Dies ermöglicht <i class="fa-headset">:headset:</i> 3,5-mm-Headset-Audio bei Verwendung des älteren DualShock®4 CUH-ZCT1-Modells.

Allerdings ist die Headset-Kompatibilität insgesamt deutlich geringer (und wir meinen deutlich geringer), und der eingebaute Lautsprecher Ihres Controllers kann nicht verwendet werden, da die PS4®-Konsole das Gerät als USB-Headset erkennt. Im Allgemeinen sollten Sie niemals freiwillig eine 83 oder 82 einer 85 vorziehen.

Zusätzlich verfügt die CM00082 über eine deutlich schmalere USB-Führung, die ein außergewöhnlich schlankes USB-Kabelende verwendet, um zu passen.
