I modelli precedenti dello STRIKEPACK™ Dominator cablato per PS4® possono essere aggiornati al firmware v3. Le istruzioni della nuova esperienza M.O.D. si applicano a questi modelli esattamente allo stesso modo, poiché hanno gli stessi 8 LED e supportano tutte le nuove funzionalità e M.O.D.

Questi modelli più vecchi sono molto simili al CM00085, ma funzionano in modo diverso per quanto riguarda l'audio dell'auricolare.

CM00083 e CM00082 **non** funzionano con la porta da 3,5 mm integrata del controller e ne bloccano anche fisicamente l'accesso.

Invece, includono una scheda audio integrata con una porta da 3,5 mm dedicata. Ciò consente <i class="fa-headset">:headset:</i> audio dell'auricolare da 3,5 mm quando si utilizza il vecchio modello DualShock®4 CUH-ZCT1.

Tuttavia, la compatibilità complessiva degli auricolari è drasticamente inferiore (e intendiamo drasticamente inferiore), e l'altoparlante integrato del controller non può essere utilizzato, poiché la console PS4® rileva il dispositivo come un auricolare USB. In generale, non dovresti mai scegliere volontariamente un 83 o un 82 invece di un 85.

Inoltre, il CM00082 presenta una guida USB molto più sottile, che utilizza un'estremità del cavo USB eccezionalmente sottile per adattarsi.
