# Weapon Selector
"**Select**" provides a **Weapon Selector** Controller Shortcut for you to quickly & remotely navigate assigning your ACTIVE Weapon Slot, while referring to the app visuals & alerts for confirmation of your selection.

Once you are in-game, ensure that you are swapped to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot that you intend to assign a GENERIC: Fire Mode or an Optimized Weapon to.

Move out of harm’s way & hide because the last thing you want is to be attacked while you are assigning the Weapon Slot.
| To enter the Weapon Selector, while 
***HOLDING*** 
***ACTIVATOR**,* 
***TAP*** 
***RIGHT TRIGGER*** & the Weapon Slot text will change to a Category. ***DO NOT*** release ***ACTIVATOR*** yet, as it ***MUST REMAIN HELD*** throughout to stay in the Weapon Selector. |

The GENERIC: Fire Mode & Optimized Weapon options are organized into Categories. You can navigate through them with 
***RIGHT BUMPER***, or 
***LEFT BUMPER**.*

Once you have selected a Category, ***TAP*** ***RIGHT TRIGGER*** to cycle through its options & determine your selection for the Weapon Slot. ***RELEASE*** ***ACTIVATOR*** to confirm your selection & exit the Weapon Selector.
