### Overview

"**Third**" Swap is intended for games that utilize a **3** weapon system of Primary, Secondary, & Third, **but** <mark style="color:red;">**only**</mark> those where you **specifically** switch to your Third Weapon (or Special/Power Weapon) by **holding** your Switch Weapon button.

Similar in layout to the Hybrid option, Third includes a single Automatic-style **3** slot loadout that tracks your Switch Weapon button presses & holds, plus **5** Direct-style slots that you can potentially use for favourite weapons, random weapon pickups, weapons that you rarely switch to, or assigned functionality such as Block M.O.D.s.

This option assumes that switching back from your Third Weapon will always switch to your Primary Weapon.  If your game does otherwise, it will constantly lose sync & you should use Hybrid instead.

### Sync Your Switch Weapon

If you are swapped to the single loadout of <img src="/files/1XWAK7pGsPSF0XSuCzqC" alt="" data-size="line"> / <img src="/files/DobOhX73H5hblQEd0Tar" alt="" data-size="line">  / ![](/files/tqGnZ7dNnAONq7DyQRe1) Weapon Slots, they will track your Switch Weapon button presses & holds to automatically follow your in-game weapon switching:

You will quite often have to sync this feature with your game; especially after respawns or accessing menus:

The easiest way to do so is to purposefully switch to your Third Weapon & switch back to your Primary, or if this "self sync" method seems unreliable, you can do the following:

The **5** remaining numbered slots, labelled "**Weapon 4** - **8**", can used as spares as you see fit.  Whenever you swap to one of them via the app or **Controller Shortcuts**, the automatic swap will **pause** until you sync it back up.

**Third** includes **Controller Shortcuts** for you to manually swap between Weapon Slots without needing to reach for the app:
