### Overview
"**Third**" Swap is intended for games that utilize a **3** weapon system of Primary, Secondary, & Third, **but** **only** those where you **specifically** switch to your Third Weapon (or Special/Power Weapon) by **holding** your Switch Weapon button. *** Similar in layout to the Hybrid option, Third includes a single Automatic-style **3** slot loadout that tracks your Switch Weapon button presses & holds, plus **5** Direct-style slots that you can potentially use for favourite weapons, random weapon pickups, weapons that you rarely switch to, or assigned functionality such as Block M.O.D.s. {% hint style="danger" %} This option assumes that switching back from your Third Weapon will always switch to your Primary Weapon. If your game does otherwise, it will constantly lose sync & you should use Hybrid instead. {% endhint %} *** All **8** Weapon Slots are displayed on the Dashboard for you to swap between:

### Sync Your Switch Weapon

You will quite often have to sync this feature with your game; especially after respawns or accessing menus: {% hint style="info" %} The easiest way to do so is to purposefully switch to your Third Weapon & switch back to your Primary, or if this "self sync" method seems unreliable, you can do the following: {% endhint %}

Switch to your "in-game Primary Weapon", ⚠️ DO NOT hold left trigger ⚠️, then while HOLDING ACTIVATOR, TAP to sync, indicated as a RGB LED & Dashboard Primary Weapon highlight.
{% hint style="info" %} The **5** remaining numbered slots, labelled "**Weapon 4** - **8**", can used as spares as you see fit. Whenever you swap to one of them via the app or **Controller Shortcuts**, the automatic swap will **pause** until you sync it back up. {% endhint %}
