### Overview

"**Hybrid**" Swap is primarily intended for games that utilize the common weapon system of Primary & Secondary, but its Dashboard layout allows it to support almost every shooter game.

As a **hybrid** of the Automatic & Direct options, Hybrid is more flexible, with a single Automatic-style **2** slot loadout that tracks your Switch Weapon button presses, plus **6** Direct-style slots that you can potentially use for favourite weapons, random weapon pickups, weapons that you rarely switch to, or assigned functionality such as Block M.O.D.s.

All **8** Weapon Slots are displayed on the Dashboard for you to swap between:

### Sync Your Switch Weapon

If you are swapped to the single loadout of <mark style="color:yellow;">**Primary**</mark> & <mark style="color:red;">**Secondary**</mark> Weapon Slots, they will track your Switch Weapon button presses to automatically follow your in-game weapon switching:

When you are actively using this feature, you will quite often have to sync it with your game; especially after respawns or accessing menus.  To do so:

The **6** remaining numbered slots, labelled "**Weapon 3** - **8**", can used as spares as you see fit.  Whenever you swap to one of them via the app or **Controller Shortcuts**, the automatic swap will **pause** until you sync it back up.

**Hybrid** includes **Controller Shortcuts** for you to manually swap between Weapon Slots without needing to reach for the app:
