<a href="https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TvypfNcveDg" class="button secondary" data-icon="youtube">Watch Video on YouTube</a>

<mark style="color:blue;">**In the video above,**</mark> you'll learn how to configure **Controller Settings** in **Shooter Studio** on the **STRIKEPACK HORIZON** app.

<mark style="color:blue;">**Written Steps:**</mark>

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Each profile has its own separate **Controller Settings**, so start by going to your profile. This will take you to the **Overview** screen.

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
To open **Controller Settings**, <img src="https://1841283601-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FFYraHizgjOptWmwCAGKE%2Fuploads%2FsUgzRD8aE22qsSxZ4cmI%2FTap_Icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=70edd8e3-3389-4437-ae55-60bc2b67ec86" alt="" data-size="line"> **tap** the <i class="fa-gamepad-modern">:gamepad-modern:</i> **Controller** button on the bottom-bar.

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Sticky Buttons** can turn any button you would normally have to hold into a toggle button. Simply <img src="https://1841283601-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FFYraHizgjOptWmwCAGKE%2Fuploads%2FsUgzRD8aE22qsSxZ4cmI%2FTap_Icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=70edd8e3-3389-4437-ae55-60bc2b67ec86" alt="" data-size="line"> **tap** any **on-screen buttons** you want toggleable to highlight and select them. Then <img src="https://1841283601-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FFYraHizgjOptWmwCAGKE%2Fuploads%2FsUgzRD8aE22qsSxZ4cmI%2FTap_Icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=70edd8e3-3389-4437-ae55-60bc2b67ec86" alt="" data-size="line"> **tap** the <i class="fa-arrow-left">:arrow-left:</i> **Back Arrow** to exit.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Sticky Buttons** can serve as an alternative to in-game settings such as **Toggle ADS** and **Toggle Crouch**, which are ***NOT*** supported by macros that rely on their respective buttons to activate and don't work well with **Stance Tracking**, a feature that allows you to apply Recoil Assist differently for ADS, Hip, Crouch, etc.
{% endhint %}

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Block Rumble**, when toggled on, blocks the feeling of any controller vibration signals coming from your game.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Shooter Studio** benefits from you leaving **Controller Vibration ON** in your game and console settings, and using **Block Rumble** as an alternative if needed.
&#x20;Block Rumble will NOT affect any indicator rumbles related to Shooter Studio.
{% endhint %}

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
You can also toggle on **Hair Triggers** for both the **Left** and **Right** sides independently. These maximize sensitivity, so your inputs register at 100% with the lightest possible press.

* This can also more easily tighten up the timing between your weapon actually firing and the Recoil Assist macro activating.
* Just be aware that this is turning your triggers into standard buttons, but other than vehicle acceleration and braking being over sensitive, this is usually NOT an issue in most shooters.

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Adaptive Trigger Stops** repurpose the PS5® Adaptive Triggers to somewhat simulate physical trigger stops. A fun companion to Hair Triggers, you can set both sides independently.

* **Passthrough** will just disable this feature and allow your game to do its thing.
* Otherwise, you can choose from **Short**, **Medium**, or **Long** with **Click** variants available for a slightly more tactile feel.
* Finally, there's the **Block ADT** option.
  &#x20;This completely blocks the effects of all Adaptive Trigger features for that specific side.

{% hint style="info" %}
Regardless of which **Adaptive Trigger Stops** option you choose, **Shooter Studio** benefits from you leaving **Adaptive Trigger Effects ON** and **MAXED OUT** in your game.
{% endhint %}

***

{% endstep %}

{% step %} <img src="https://1841283601-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FFYraHizgjOptWmwCAGKE%2Fuploads%2FsUgzRD8aE22qsSxZ4cmI%2FTap_Icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=70edd8e3-3389-4437-ae55-60bc2b67ec86" alt="" data-size="line"> **Tap** the <i class="fa-gamepad-modern">:gamepad-modern:</i> **Controller** button again to close Controller Settings.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

***

<i class="fa-hands-clapping">:hands-clapping:</i> Now you're all set to experiment with different controller configurations to see what best suits your playstyle.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://guide.strikepack.com/horizon/strikepack-horizon-app-guide/shooter-studio-guide/7-controller-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
